Aikido

I teach AH1200-007, a one-credit introduction to Aikido. Aikido is a remarkable martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba in the 1920s, unusual for its flowing style and aspiration to protect both attacker and defender from harm. If you are a potential student, keep in mind that space in the class is limited by the size of the Hawley Armory mat room; we can accommodate only 20 students per term. If you are a current student, information about the course can be found on the moodle site:

The course is taught under the auspices of Shobu Aikido of Boston.
